before

starting tomorrow i will begin my nine day venture of redesigning miss abigail's room. i thought i would start off this design week special with the before photos so you all know just where we started. as far as the design i'm going for an overall cleaner and crisper feeling while still keeping true to abbeys tastes and styles. she has picked a robins egg blue-green and a bright red orange for the new room's color scheme, then we'll balance it out with some neutrals and bright whites as well. of course there will be a few surprises that abbey doesn't know about. on the list for tomorrow are new wood floors (because what little girl wouldn't want hardwood in her bedroom?) and hopefully the first coat of paint. the room will be revealed to abbey next saturday the 11th and i can hardly wait to see her reaction. wish me luck!
