your throne awaits

sog
if you follow me on instagram then you probably already know camden and i exchanged valentines gifts a little early and that curvy little chair was his gift to me. seriously, we never wait. you instagram followers would also know that this chair used to be white, white i tell you! from the beginning i always knew she was destined to be gold . . . she was born to be gold (she being the chair because we all know everything has a he or she personality, even chairs).  at first i thought a little spray paint would do the trick and while it looked okay, it didn't have the texture we were longing for (we being the chair and i, because we all know chairs can long). after seeing this gold leafing chair d.i.y. online the other day, i decided that this was exactly what she needed. it took me longer and was much more difficult than i originally expected, but the result was more than worth it. now i'm just waiting for some vintage wheels to come in the mail so we can easily move her around the room and back again. i present to you a chair worthy of queens (or kings).
