it has been a bizarre year for weather out here. winter seemed like a prolonged autumn turned into an early spring. we had been having nice sunny mid sixty degree weather then, out of nowhere, it is thirty two degrees and snowing. winter i have news for you, you are late! usually i am all for the snowy weather and actually prefer it over the scalding hot {my husband thinks i am silly for this} but this year i say no more snow. no more cold. no more wind. i am ready for nice spring weather and to feel the warm sun upon my face. however spring means i better get ready to pull out the sunscreen. anyone who knows me knows i am over-eccentric about wearing it. i blame this on over-tanning in my teens and then having a sudden fear of turning into an old, leathery, wrinkly woman. then just like that, i am one of those sunscreen wearing gals. my favorite sunscreen for the body is clinique ‘sun’ body cream, and for the face i like clinique ‘sun’ face cream . it doesn’t seem to be overly greasy and it is supposed to do the job better than some of the other brands out there. it works great, my face is just as white during the summer as in the middle of the winter. i may no longer be a golden tanned sun beauty but hopefully it will keep my skin looking good when i’m old and wrinkly.
