have you ever been to the longleat house and safari? it’s somewhere between salisbury and bath and is a fun place to visit especially when traveling with family like we are. besides the huge funky house, they have a safari and other various things to do including a bunch of large playgrounds. these kids thought it would be hilarious if i went down this teeny zip-line at one of them so i eventually gave in, became a kid myself, and climbed aboard.
we are heading up to york tomorrow for the next three days and then back down to london. more soon!

Always my favourite to be a kid again! How fun!
I went to Longleat about 4 years ago after watching a TV documentary series about the animals there and I loved it – loved it! Did you do the monkey safari bit, I was so glad we took the bus tour rather than bring the rental car though because I had a great time laughing at the monkeys pulling bits of seal and wiper blades off the other cars (they do warn you the monkey will do it – but I didn't really think they'd be that destructive!)
