thursday night we did a little christmas shopping for kramer. we were both so excited to see his reaction to his new toys, we couldn’t help but to give him just one early. he loves it, martha stewart sure knows her dog toys. kramer rarely left its side today.

quiet naps and tomato soup
it’s been a quiet saturday full of much thought. it didn’t seem right any other way. what happened to the children and teachers in that little school in connecticut is heartbreaking. i spent today feeling thankful for the life my family and i have had together so far. sometimes it is when horrible things happen that we remember just how short and precious life really is. my heart goes out to all the families who have lost a part of theirs in this terrible tragedy. you are in our thoughts and prayers.
It has been a quiet day and so heartbreaking….I cannot imagine those poor people's pain.

Lovely Saturday it seems. I too have been down since the shooting, it's so hard to live life when such awful things are happening. The best is to hold loved ones close and be thankful every day.
