you may remember me telling you that for our valentine’s date this year, we went to an amazing second hand store and ended up getting a little modern foot stool as well as a coffee table. well, we finally got around to picking them up and they have joined us in our home. they are a bit pre-loved but that is they way we like it. i think they will be here to stay for years to come.

Cute! When my husband and I moved, we were able to snag a bunch of old furniture from a rental house my parents bought (excellent timing). I repainted all of it and spruced it up some (my favorite was an old cedar trunk I upholstered-now it matches our velvet headboard!).
Mixing vintage and modern just makes everything feel cozy and awesome, I think 🙂
