thought on tuesday- a creepy story
I must tell you a creepy story behind the first picture on this post. So grab a bag of popcorn and here you go! (Sorry for the length. I tried to shorten it as much as possible.)
Tessa and I had gone down to a park, known for people walking dogs and hanging out, to take todays pictures. While we were walking down to the location of the picture we passed a man whose first impression read something like a person I might not want to hang around(a bit of a creeper). However, being one who tries to not judge people on first impressions, I tried to erase the pre-judgment I had of of this man out of my head. Of course, I am ashamed to say this was not before I turned to make a silly creeped out face to Tessa. Not two photos in to the shoot at our found location at the park I noticed the same man making his way back toward where he had just been and where we currently were. I mouthed to Tessa “That man is coming back!” She turned around to see him then said to me “I just remembered another place we could try”(meaning Lets Get Out Of Here!). We walked up the stairs back to the street, Tessa clutched the bag with all our things(camera, phone, etc.) very tightly around her shoulder, as I kept a watchful eye on the man below who had sat on a rock to watch us take photos. Just as I thought we were in the clear and had maybe over exaggerated the situation in my head, the man got up from his spot and started walking up the opposite stairs to where we were headed. Tessa and I looked at each other and started to walk very quickly in hopes of beating this man to our parked car in the lot. Our hopes were vanished as we saw him come up the stairs right where we were trying to head. We saw cars unloading in the parking lot by our car but trying to avoid crossing paths with the man we decided to cross the street as to appear that we were walking to one of the homes. I started to notice that my worry of the man also keeping an eye on us was in fact not fiction as we saw him glancing at us from underneath his black dingy hoody. After we got to the other side of the street, now across from where we wanted to be, we saw the man make a sudden change in his path and started walking straight toward us at a much quicker pace then before! Tessa tried to grab the phone as we started to walk to the closest home in sight. Suddenly we herd him call out “hey, HEY!” Having finally had enough of this I said very bugged with my brave voice “Can we help you?” he replied “well I was just noticing we were walking the same way and thought you girls might like to hang out.” I immediately thought “yeah, we were walking the same way cause YOU WERE FOLLOWING US” but instead decided to say “Um… we were actually just leaving.” We then turned and headed back towards the car in the parking lot across the street feeling a bit foolish for crossing back to where we had been just minutes ago. As we got into our car we saw the man walking down the street away from us we knew the ordeal was over. We immediately felt thankful that we were safe and the only harm we had faced was the fear from the situation. We talked and joked while we drove away in search for a new place to take the photos and assured ourselves that was the last time we would attempt to take photos at that park, at least by ourselves.

SO scary!!!
I know huh!!
