i have been dying to get to the local farmers market for weeks now .. really i’ve been looking forward to it since we moved back in fall making it so close to our home and much easier to get to. somehow, despite all this, saturdays have flown by with an always conflicting schedule, providing no fix for my summer farmers market crave. yesterday however, i finally made it, taking my extremely cute and ever-so-sweet sister kate along with me. she, unlike me, had already made it down this year and was able to guide the two of us to all the must see, must try, and and must buy booths throughout … as is to say, only the very best booths got our full attention. it was a beautiful day, slightly overcast so it wasn’t too hot, and not to crowded because of the rain threat that didn’t happen because, well, it hardly ever does … it was one of those really great days that you wish you could somehow have again, like putting your very favorite song on repeat because you love it just that much …

I've had the pleasure of living in cities with phenomenal farmers markets so I know just how you feel about them! You just can't possibly go enough! Also, every single one of those popsicle flavors sounds so very good.

definitely some great booths in your area – your popsicle booth is awesome. strawberry basil is an old favorite of mine and i bet honey grapefruit is fantastic!

Nice! I love our farmers market in Dallas. Sure they compare to the big ones around the country, but there is something special about supporting local farmers, buying from local florists and just getting really fresh produce. Thanks for sharing with such beautiful pictures!

Those popsicles look fab. Found a great pop place in Savannah and they were SO good it was the first time ever I picked a popsicle over a cupcake, which they also sold.
And "Lick" us on FB?? HA!
