you know those magazines that you just can’t wait to come in the mail? those ones that actually make you want to get the mail and just forget about the huge stack of bills that might, no, DO come with it? well, the dwell studio catalog is just that for me. i always love flipping open a fresh crisp one straight from the mail and looking through it for the first time. i love this almost as much as i love the smell of library books which is saying something. i always get so much decorating inspiration for rooms in mine and others houses and their spring 2012 catalog is no different. i save all my dwell catalogs and have even gone to the extreme of framing a few of the pages and hanging them in my office. oh dwell, what have you done to me?

when the mail comes
March 22, 2012

I know the feeling! My April issue of Nylon came in the mail yesterday and I (almost) completely ignored every other piece of mail. And oh, the smell of library books. The oldest ones are always the best smelling.
As for Dwell, I love that yellow wallpaper in the second photo! So fun.

I know it well, too! I devour Whole Living, Real Simple, and Maine magazine!! They're all worthy of being kept around and looked at again & again.
Such a good feeling. The urgency of the bills always seems to fade away 🙂

I love this! I'm the same way with Nylon. I love that magazine and it beats out my elle, vouge subscriptions.
