the williamsburg bridge
we were shocked by how hot the subway stations were. seriously quite a bit hotter than the air outside.

the chelsea pier

the columbia university campus. one of the many sites we stopped at to live out kate’s deepest obsession with gossip girl. xoxo

oh the hop on, hop off busses . . . they were a sort of major entertainment for us. one of the tour guides on one of the busses we took, kept yelling at her bus driver down below, who’s name couldn’t have been more perfect, eugene. “eugene, eugene, can you hear me??” “eugene, eugene, you better let this bus go around us now!!” – and who could forget about zu (one of the other tour guide’s bus driver). “zu, zu, stop zu! right here zu, stop!” without a doubt the best show of the trip.

soho turned out to be one of my favorite areas in new york, although i really loved them all.

rockefeller plaza is where we spent a lot of time on our first day in new york. also where we spent a lot of time shopping in new york . .

oh serendipity, your frozen hot chocolate really is superb and your menus oversized. (camden really wanted to order the golden opulence sundae, made with real gold costing over 1000$, just to see what they’d say.)

strangely this hot dog was one of my favorite meals on this trip, and i don’t even typically like hot dogs. it was that good.
because i already have the little new york block set from muji, i went with the london block set. maybe we’ll go there next?

i was obsessed with kate’s rings. i took like 15 pictures of them. they deserved a bit of spotlight.

my mom, sister, and camden went to the today show in rockefeller plaza monday morning, where girls were screaming and crying over those jonas brothers. mom, kate, and tessa (and camden) this photo is for you 🙂
strawberry fields in central park.

ground zero

the crowds and traffic were electrifying, especially near times square.
