you may already know, but camden works the ever so fun hours of retail. this means a regular work week for him usually falls on tuesday thru saturday and home by 8:00 p.m., meaning his weekend is sunday and monday. i have the “regular” work week which goes something like monday thru friday home by 5:00. although i love camden’s job and know he is so lucky to have such a good one, i can’t help but mope somedays when we can’t spend the whole weekend together. saturdays belong to kramer and i because camden is at work. camden is currently on a motorcycle day trip which means our half day monday weekend will have to be put on hold. don’t get me wrong, i’m happy that guy is out having a bit of fun, he deserves a little every once and a while. we miss having him around here, just hanging and eating dinner. this can put me in a sour mood at times. papa johns sees a lot of me on these days though. and oh boy, how kramer loves when that papa john delivery guy knocks upon our door. he always seems to know just when they get here and who is at the door, it is as if he has a delivery pizza sensor placed in his little brain. he pretty much screams at the sounds of the knock on that door. so anyway, here is to pizza and waiting. . . . 
i’ve been listening to this song, little talks by: of monsters and men, a lot lately and especially today. you can listen to it too if you’d like. 

   

our life as of late

 kramer watched and waited for camden to come home from work saturday.

we snuggled on the bed and were very lazy saturday. i think i stayed in my pajamas until about 6:00p.m. in my defense, we had stayed up until one or two in the morning the night before with some friends we had over. camden had to go to work and we were very tired as you can tell.
we went to the grocery store because we were out of food, when we came back we realized we were still out of food but had plenty of drinks.
my mom brought me the coolest yarn flowers, kramer thought they might be real.
 we have had two date nights lately. we went and saw the black keys in concert which was so much fun and got that yummy funnel cake, we also went and saw the avengers. love date nights!  

 we spent a lot of time in the car going grocery shopping, running errands and such.
i made the most delicious grilled cheese! it was killer.  
when we woke up sunday morning and peaked out the window, we saw what looked to be a sunny warm day, so we decided to go for a walk. however, the sun was all looks and we came back fifteen minutes later to curl up by the fire.
we took a nice sunday nap, kramer decided to take his on camden’s back. 
how i am wishing the weekend could last just a bit longer. happy monday everyone.

a new home – mood board

camden and i have been talking a lot lately about moving and where/when we would go. we originally thought our next move would be into a home but after much deliberating we have decided to live more central before we decide to buy. this is mostly because we can’t decide where we want to live as far as a more permanent location goes. in the last three years we have moved three times and moving again could not sound more miserable. however, at times it does sound exciting to be closer to friends and family and close to the places and things we like to go and do. it has made me think a lot about the design of our home and how i would want our new home to be different from our current little place. i can’t help but want our next home to reflect a more simple, more modern version of our current little abode. over the last five years my style in design has changed a lot, and being the impulsive person i am we have gone through a lot of furniture that we could have gone without. well i want to do it right this time, taking time and thought on exactly what i want our home to represent. this is just the first of what i am sure will be one of many mood boards of our soon to be home in the city.
